Inge C. Paulsen - Managing director

Inge has been Managing Director of Light Structures AS since August 2010. He has previously held a number of management positions in the maritime industry ranging from shipbroking to shipping IT and management consulting. Prior to joining Light Structures he was Head of Business Development at Marintek. His work for Marintek included projects and consultancy within business development, strategy and logistics optimization for maritime and oil & gas companies. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the American InterContinental University and an MA Econ degree from Webster University.

Dr. Geir S. Sagvolden - Director of Technology, founder

Geir is a co-founder of Light Structures AS and has held the position of Managing Director from 2001-2003 and 2008-2010 and Director of Technology 2004-2008 and 2010-. Before starting Light Structures, Geir worked as a scientist and project manager at the Norwegian Defense Research Establishment in projects that developed Fiber Bragg Grating hull stress monitoring systems. Geir holds a Dr. Philos. in Physics from the University of Oslo.

Karianne Pran - Project Director, founder

Karianne is a co-founder of Light Structures AS and has held the position of Director of Technology 2001-2003, Managing Director from 2004-2008 and Project Director 2010-. Before starting Light Structures, Karianne worked as a scientist at the Norwegian Defense Research Establishment in projects that developed Fiber Bragg Grating sensors and hull stress monitoring systems. She holds a Master of Science (siv.ing.) degree in Engineering Physics from the Norwegian Institute of Technology.
